Most of our core team members were born and raised in different regions of Ukraine—Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, Kharkiv, the Carpathians—so the language you hear in our classes is alive with authentic accents, regional expressions, and the small stories that make each dialect feel like a hometown. At the same time, every teacher has years of academic training and international experience. We know how to explain the seven cases without making you cry (most of the time), how to turn the nightmare of Ukrainian aspect into something logical, and how to keep you laughing even when you mix up “зустріч” and “зустрічатися” in front of your Ukrainian girlfriend’s parents.

• Cultural immersion modules go far beyond folklore dances. We read contemporary Ukrainian poetry together, watch episodes of “Sluga Narodu” and discuss politics, cook live on Zoom with a teacher’s babusia, analyze viral TikToks in surzhyk, visit virtual exhibitions of Maidan photographs, and learn the songs that soldiers sing in the trenches. Because language without culture is just noise.
Every single material—handouts, videos, audio recordings, interactive exercises—is created or carefully curated by our team. We do not outsource your learning experience to random YouTube channels or AI-generated dialogues. And yes, we record most lessons (with your permission) so you can revisit that tricky explanation of motion verbs whenever you need.
