The NEET MDS 2025 counselling process is being conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The registration process for NEET MDS 2025 counselling Round 1 commenced on June 24, 2025, and the last date is June 30, 2025. The choice filling process started on June 25, 2025, and the process, along with choice locking, will end on June 30, 2025. MCC has released the seat matrix for Round 1 of the NEET MDS counselling 2025, which indicates that there are 1,574 seats. There are four rounds of NEET MDS 2025 counselling, which will conclude on August 30, 2025. The number of rounds may increase depending on the number of seat vacancies.
The NEET MDS 2025 result was declared on May 15, 2025. Along with scores and rank, the NEET MDS 2025 cutoff was also released by NBEMS. As many as 29,220 candidates appeared for the exam out of 30,435 registered candidates. The NEET MDS 2025 AIQ 50% Quota Merit List was released by NBE on May 22, 2025. Individual scorecards for 50 per cent All India Quota seats was released on or after May 30, 2025. Candidates have to login to the NEET MDS website with their registration credentials to download the scorecards.
The NEET MDS 2025 counselling is likely to begin in June 2025 by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The state counselling authorities will conduct the admission process for the State Quota MDS seats separately.
The NEET MDS 2025 exam was conducted on April 19, 2025, from 2 PM to 5 PM. The difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate.
The last date to complete the internship for NEET MDS 2025 has been extended from March 31, 2025, to June 30, 2025. The NEET MDS 2025 dates were announced along with the information bulletin and notification on February 17, 2025.
NEET MDS 2025 Counselling

MCC has announced the NEET MDS 2025 counselling dates on June 20, 2025. The NEET MDS counselling 2025 has begun on June 24 and will last till August 30, 2025 as per the scheduled dates.
MCC conducts the NEET MDS counselling for 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats, deemed/central university seats, ESIC and AFMC seats. To participate in the NEET MDS 2025 counselling, eligible candidates have to register themselves on the official website of MCC. They have to fill in their choice of colleges and courses as well. Four rounds of counselling are originally conducted, including the online stray vacancy round for admission into Master’s of Dental Surgery courses. Based on the marks and ranks of the applicants, choice filled, seat availability, and other criteria, MCC releases the seat allotment list for NEET MDS counselling. Selected candidates have to report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. In case of vacant seats, MCC will conduct additional rounds of counselling.
NEET MDS 2025 Cutoff
The NEET MDS 2025 cutoff is similar to that of last year. While it is higher for the General and reserved category candidates, it is lower for the General-PWD category candidates.

NEET MDS 2025 Result
NEET MDS 2025 result has been declared on May 15, 2025, within a month of conducting the exam for 29,220 candidates who appeared for the entrance examination. The NEET MDS results contain important details including the Roll number of candidates, the score obtained out of 960, and the NEET MDS overall rank. The NEET MDS cutoff marks are also released along with the result. NBE will release the NEET MDS 2025 AIQ 50% scorecard on or after May 30, 2025. Candidates can download the scorecard by entering the Roll number, date of birth, and captcha code.
NEET MDS 2025 Admit Card
The NEET MDS 2025 admit card was released by NBE for eligible applicants on April 15, 2025. The admit card of NEET MDS 2025 carries important information like the name of the candidate, date of birth, exam date and timing, name and address of the exam centres and exam-day guidelines. The admit card for the NEET MDS exam must be carried to the exam centre in hard copy. It was released online and candidates have to download it through login credentials. Candidates must preserve the NEET MDS 2025 admit card till the counselling process as it is one of the mandatory documents for verification during the institute reporting.
NEET MDS 2025 Application Form Process

Aspirants of the PG Dental entrance test had to register themselves on the official website of NBE. After completing the registration process, candidates had to fill the NEET MDS 2025 application form. NBEMS had reopened the NEET MDS 2025 application window from April 3 to April 6, 2025, only for those candidates completing their internship between April 1, 2025, and June 30, 2025. The application correction window for these candidates opened on April 9, 2025. NEET MDS 2025 application process involved the following processes. The application correction window was open from March 14 to March 17, 2025. The NEET MDS 2025 final correction window was open from March 27 to March 31, 2025.

NEET MDS 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for NEET MDS 2025 are advised to read and understand the criteria set by NBE. It was also important that a candidate meet the requirements set by NBE for the exam. If at any point in time NBE finds out that the candidate does not meet the eligibility requirements for NEET MDS 2025, his/her candidature will be cancelled. The eligibility criteria for NEET MDS 2025, as per MDS Course Regulations 2017 notified by the Dental Council of India with prior approval of MoHFW are as follows:
- They must possess a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a University/Institute recognised by the DCI
- They must be registered with the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC) (permanent/provisional)
- They must have completed 12 months of compulsory rotatory internship on or before June 30, 2025.
NEET MDS 2025 Test Cities

NEET MDS 2025 Syllabus
